Two fun-filled days of shooting in the beautiful North Platte River valley in western NE.
June 5 – Fun in the Sun at Lake McConaughy (NE’s largest lake with over 70 miles of beach) - models: swimwear and beachwear recommended.
June 6 – Fun down on the Farm – private land near North Platte – models: anything goes!
This photo shoot is sponsored by Western Nebraska Models and Photographers, with a membership of over 70 members in NE, CO, SD and MO. There are no fees or deposits required for this weekend shoot. The shoots will start daily at 1:00 p.m. CDT near the yellow caboose at Iron Horse Park/20th Century Veterans’ Memorial located in the SE quadrant of I-80/US 83 overpass (Exit 177) just south of North Platte, NE. Photographers: please bring your own model releases and 2257 forms.
North Platte, NE, the host city, is a small city (25,000) located along I-80 in west-central NE. It hosts many conventions, has the world’s largest railroad classification yard, Buffalo Bill’s ranch, and Cody Park (the former grounds of Buffalo Bill Cody’s Wild West Show, the start of modern day rodeo). There are plenty of motels and eating establishments to fill everyone’s needs.
